 Series: Ashes of Angels
 Release Date: July 26, 2011
Publisher: Harlequin

Goodreads | Amazon

As a muse, Cassandra Stevens had been warned of the Fallen angel who’d one day come to impregnate her
with a nephilim, an evil offspring. But no one could have foreseen that Samandriel—the raven-haired, silver-winged Fallen one—would sweep her off her feet.
Against all good sense, Sam stirred her suppressed desires, yet for her own sake she dared not arouse his carnal ones. For Sam had been summoned to earth by a dark vampire lord. And more Fallen were on their
way. Despite the dangers, Cassandra needed Sam by her side, for only together could they prevent the
apocalypse that had been unleashed…

First Thoughts: I was like ooh, it's about angels and fallens!!!! I want to read this thing!
(PS to the author, I am so sorry that I am late :( ))

Cover: The cover is okay, it's not the best, but it good enough.

Setting: I love the setting, the setting is is kind of peaceful, but also very dark because of the legends of fallens and vampires.

Characters: The characters are very solid, I love Cassandra and Sam, they are so adorable. All of the characters are very lovable and awesome.

Plot: The plot is fantastic, but it kind of went too fast, too rush, but it was so cool and fighting.

Recommends: Fallen lovers fans and angels fans.

Publisher: Margaret K. McElderry

In the realm of Faerie, the time has come for Roiben's coronation. Uneasy in the midst of the malevolent Unseelie Court, pixie Kaye is sure of only one thing -- her love for Roiben. But when Kaye, drunk on faerie wine, declares herself to Roiben, he sends her on a seemingly impossible quest. Now Kaye can't see or speak to Roiben unless she can find the one thing she knows doesn't exist: a faerie who can tell a lie. Miserable and convinced she belongs nowhere, Kaye decides to tell her mother the truth -- that she is a changeling left in place of the human daughter stolen long ago. Her mother's shock and horror sends Kaye back to the world of Faerie to find her human counterpart and return her to Ironside. But once back in the faerie courts, Kaye finds herself a pawn in the games of Silarial, queen of the Seelie Court. Silarial wants Roiben's throne, and she will use Kaye, and any means necessary, to get it. In this game of wits and weapons, can a pixie outplay a queen?

First Thoughts: "Ahhhhhh, I have it!" I have been waiting for this book for years, I have always been a big Holly Black fan. I was so happy to start digging into it.

Cover: I must say, I like the other cover more, but this cover is still as great. I love that this cover have the crown that I think is of the Unseelie Court and of Lord Roiben.

Setting: I love the setting, it have the dark atmosphere and it's the Seelie and Unseelie Courts in the realm of Faeries! So rich and detailed.

Characters" The characters in Black's world is solid with emotions and life, so real in a fantastic realm of faeries including The Queen of the Seelie Court

Plot: The plot is fantastic! The fight, the hunger for power! Everyone was awesome and everything was amazing. The faeries are hungry, but not food hungry. They are hungry for POWERS. I know it was going to be fantastic!

Recommends: Every faeries fans in the world!

A Prodigal Son

A Dangerous Love

A Deadly Secret

Grace Divine—daughter of the local pastor—always knew something terrible happened the night Daniel Kalbi disappeared and her brother Jude came home covered in his own blood.
Now that Daniel's returned, Grace must choose between her growing attraction to him and her loyalty to her brother.
As Grace gets closer to Daniel, she learns the truth about that mysterious night and how to save the ones she loves, but it might cost her the one thing she cherishes most: her soul

First Thoughts: Well, I saw it in the library and I have always wanted to read it because my friends said that it was good and stuff, so I checked it out.

Cover: The cover is stunning, it have a dark look to it and the purple is the stunner, it have kind of a mysterious atmosphere around it.

Setting: The setting is common, it didn't really stand out.
Characters: Grace has a strong voice and is an amazing narrator, but she can also be very annoying at some parts. She is also kind of stubborn, but she is a original. Daniel is mysterious and handsome, having a dangerous secret, his characters drew me in to him, making me what to know what the secret is and I did when I was halfway.

All of Bree Despain are not common, well maybe a little trait, but her characters are solid.

Plot: The plot is very different, I loved it with Daniel coming back with a dark secret and everything!

Recommends:  Some paranormal fans

ONCE UPON A FULL MOON

Once Upon a Full Moon by Ellen Schreiber
 Pages: 292 (Hardcover)
 Series: Full Moon # 1
 Release Date: December 28, 2010
Publisher: Katherine Tegen Books

Goodreads | Amazon

Beware of a kiss under the full moon. It will change your life forever.

Celeste Parker is used to hearing scary stories about werewolves—Legend's Run is famous for them. She's used to everything in the small town until Brandon Maddox moves to Legend's Run and Celeste finds herself immediately drawn to the handsome new student. But when, after an unnerving visit with a psychic, she encounters a pack of wolves and gorgeous, enigmatic Brandon, she must discover whether his transformation is more than legend or just a trick of the shadows in the moonlight.

Her best friends may never forgive her if she gives up her perfect boyfriend, Nash, for Brandon, who's from the wrong side of town. But she can't deny her attraction or the strong pull he has on her. Brandon may be Celeste's hero, or he may be the most dangerous creature she could encounter in the woods of Legend's Run.

Psychic predictions, generations-old secrets, a town divided, and the possibility of falling in love with a hot and heroic werewolf are the perfect formula for what happens . . . once in a full moon.
First Thoughts:  The cover looked gorgeous and it sounded good too and it's about werewolves! I am a sucker for werewolves or vampires or any mystical creatures. And I been wanting to read this book.

Cover: I think the cover is stunning, I love how the girl is like in the shape of the full moon and she's so pretty. And I like the trees.

Setting: I like the setting, see not LOVE, but only like. I think it get a good dark wood atmosphere, which is why I like it. But I did LOVE Legend's Run and how it connected with all of the legends!

Characters: I don't know what to think about Celeste, she is like emotionless to me. She is the popular girl, but she's not mean or anything like that. I don't know what she is like at all. It's like she's just telling the story about someone else, but she do grow like when she's near Brandon, she has the connection and that was when I can see her.

Celeste is a very amazing character, I didn't like her in the beginning, but near the end,  I love her because when I think her over, she's very caring and see the good in people.

I hate Nash, he's a self centered jerk, but when Celeste broke up with him. I was like 'You deserve it, jerk', but he was sweet when trying to get her back.

Brandon, Brandon, Brandon, I love Brandon. He's not only cute, but he's also thoughtful and sweet.

Plot: I love the plot is about werewolves, when her other series is about vampires. It's nice that she don't stay with only one mystical animal. But it kinda missing something though.
